In 2001, American rock band Kiss launched a casket known as the Kiss Kasket as an item of merchandise licensed by the band itself. Kiss was already known for their merchandise which included toys and apparel. The exterior of the Kiss Kasket features pictures of the band members as well as the band’s logo, while the interior is black velvet. This casket has been used by devout fans of the band and can be purchased for a little below $5000. Vinnie Paul of the band Pantera which once opened for Kiss was also famously buried in the Kiss Kasket.

Taylor Swift’s Music Video Casket

Although Taylor Swift is alive and well at the time of writing this article, she recently used a steel casket in the music video for her song “Anti-Hero” which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 2022.
