Titan Seagrass

The Titan Seagrass casket is crafted by hand primarily from willow, with attractive seagrass rope woven into the willow as an added design feature. This sturdy coffin has a slightly rounded top used to finish the elegant, yet simple design. Each casket is fully lined with a natural, unbleached fitted cotton interior and includes a matching pillow and privacy shield. This wicker casket comes fully assembled and is available with or without a ¾ viewing lid.

All Titan Wicker caskets are Made in Bangladesh and Certified Free Trade.

Our eco-friendly wicker funeral products give families the opportunity to honor a departed loved one while contributing a smaller environmental footprint. We believe in making it simple for families to perform a greener end-of-life ritual should they so choose. Whether a family chooses to bury or cremate, our wicker caskets and carriers are dignified and suitable to do so in an eco-friendly manner.

The seagrass used to produce this casket is not harvested from delicate marine environments, but rather cultivated in rice paddy-like fields that are seasonally flooded to support the growing seagrass plant. The willow used is the same eco-friendly willow used on our Titan Willow casket.

When buried directly in the earth (without a grave liner or vault) this casket will break down naturally over time. Our Seagrass Casket is also suitable as a cremation container. Flowers not included.

The Titan Seagrass casket is hand woven by skilled weavers in rural Bangladesh. This part of the world has struggled economically and our factory brings much needed employment and opportunity to the families of this region.
