Our son, Tanner passed unexpectedly in our home while we were on vacation. Due to our age we had talks about what we want when the time comes. He shares his own wishes in return. We never expected we would have to honor his wishes. The funeral home pushed for beautiful caskets with huge prices , but they just weren’t Tanner. So we did a search and. found Titan. We found the perfect solid wood box. Since we did not know he had passed for 4 days we were unable to have an open viewing and we couldn’t even have him in the church for services. That part breaks my heart. But it soothes me to know we picked the perfect plain wooden box that he would love. I’m not one to take pictures of a deceased person in their final home. But we put his favorite pillow and his favorite throw. That thing is at least 20 years old and had worn holes in it, but he loved it. So I truly feel we honored his wishes. Thanks to Titan. And by the way the funeral home did everything they could to discourage us. Even telling us he was so swollen he was “ stuffed in the box like a sausage”. Yes it made me mad. But I had previously asked the expensive casket size. It was 3/4 of an inch wider. Bottom line we used the beautiful plain box Tanner would truly love

My dad received FULL honors for his service in the US Army. The flag was IN the case until it was time to drape it on his casket. The flag was given to my mom, it is now displayed in my mom's home.
